    FAQs

What is the process for working together on a children’s book project?

We’ll begin with a consultation to discuss your vision, story, and character details. From there, I’ll create initial sketches for your approval, followed by the final illustrations. You’ll receive high-quality digital files, including PDFs and EPUBs for your book's digital format, and I'll be available to assist with any necessary revisions along the way.

What file formats will I receive for the final illustrations?

You’ll receive your whole book as a print-ready file in PDF, as well as high-resolution image files (PNG/JPEG), and optionally EPUB files for digital distribution. I ensure the artwork is optimized for both print and digital formats. Let me know if you require additional formats, and I can accommodate that.

How do you handle rights and licensing for the illustrations?

For standard use, the artwork is licensed for use in your book project and marketing materials. If you require full rights for broader use, a buyout option is available. Please inquire for more details on licensing options and pricing.

How long does the process take to complete the illustrations for a children's book?

The timeline depends on the complexity of your book and the number of illustrations required. The process will take a minimum of 12 weeks, but I will provide an estimated timeline upon discussing the project details with you.

Can I request revisions during the illustration process?

Yes, I offer one round of revisions during the process to ensure the illustrations align with your vision. Any additional revisions or major changes will be discussed with an additional fee, if applicable.

Do you offer assistance with book cover design or layout?

Yes! In addition to illustrating the interiors, I can also help with the book cover design, layout, and overall visual style to create a cohesive look for your book. Just let me know your needs, and we can discuss the options.

Do you work on self-published books, or only for traditional publishers?

I primarily work with self-published authors, but I’m open to exploring opportunities with traditional publishers as well. Whether you’re publishing independently or looking to collaborate with a publisher, I’m here to help bring your story to life through illustrations.

What if I want a different style or specific vision for the artwork?

My style is generally vibrant, dreamy, and detailed, and I specialize in creating illustrations that bring stories to life with my unique touch. If you love my style, I’d love to work with you to bring your vision to reality!
